The surrender and change we have been working through the last few weeks is not to create this dynamic of passivism or the removal of goals and achievement. Instead, it’s about a radical shift in HOW you approach your goals and achieve them (that are now aligned with who you ARE).
The alignment of your goals and the shift in HOW you reach your goals is what brings about achievement that truly fulfills you and does NOT burn you out in the process of getting there.

- Desire Vs. Fear - shifting focus to what you WANT and letting that positive state motivate you versus focusing on what you DON’T want and letting fear/negative state drive you
- Kaizen Method - we also lower resistance to change and new action when we take it in small steps - it disrupts the old pattern and established a new one in a very gentle way, which we tend to accept and implement more readily - at the foundation of Kaizen is this simple concept: what is the VERY SMALLEST step I can take?
Don’t underestimate the power of small steps - it is about the compound effect of small, consistent steps and how they lead to big outcomes over time but it is ALSO about the bigger picture of creating change without lot of resistance and force….once you have taken this approach a few times, the steps can get bigger and the speed can quicken!
